Hi!
I'm Alesha, the brunette in the photo above. Understanding dopamine, our brain's rewards system, the pleasure/pain balance and how to break and build habits that last has been an absolute game changer in my life, career, health, happiness and relationships.
For a long time I was feeling addicted to quick-hits of pleasure and avoiding areas of my life that are important to me. I felt anxious, unmotivated, uninspired, and undisciplined.
After studying dopamine, habits and addiction for many months, and completing a dopamine fast (specifically from scrolling on IG), and then from scrolling on TikTok, my life and I completely changed.
I experienced more peaceful than ever before in my adult-life (it reminds me of feeling SO free as a child before smartphones existed). I naturally become more focused, creative, motivated, present, driven, and disciplined in my work and exercise habits. Feelings of happiness and pleasure came more often from normal day-to-day things like seeing loved ones, working out, going outside, and cooking a meal -- and this pleasure lasted much longer than before.
As a byproduct, my life-coaching business has grown exponentially, my mental, spiritual and physical health has improved, and my relationships have deepened.
